I build web solutions across the whole stack — backend and frontend, and I consider both equally important. I started at twelve and never really stopped. In 2024 a hand-rolled PHP MVC framework followed: own router, own autoloader, no dependencies. Built to understand why frameworks look the way they do.

The part I spend longest on, though, is almost always how it looks. Spacing, typography, how a hover feels, whether a card jumps or glides when the grid is filtered — none of that is cosmetics applied at the end. It is where an interface stops being merely functional and starts being good. This site has three colour schemes because one was not enough for me.

What I enjoy most is building things that carry no dependencies. An SVG avatar generator that turns a name into the same image every single time, without a single network request, appeals to me far more than an npm package doing the same thing with thirty of them.
